Our practice offers a range of expert health care services to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients, including:
Chiropractic care is a natural form of healthcare that focuses on maintaining healthy movement and function throughout the spinal and musculoskeletal framework of the body.
Our experienced team of practitioners use a variety of gentle “hands on” treatment methods to help keep the body properly aligned, balanced and performing at its best, and work with people of all ages and backgrounds to help them achieve their full physical potential.
Our treatment programs also incorporate safe and sensible advice on nutrition, exercise, stress management and other aspects of a healthy lifestyle, offering our patients a natural and holistic way to take greater control of their health. Learn more.
Your posture is a reflection of how well your body is adapting to the stress and strains of everyday living, but the significance of any change in a persons posture depends on the individual context in which those changes are seen.
Consequently, our postural screening and assessment program is a popular feature of our practice because it offers reassurance to those whose bodies are developing normally, but also helps to identify those who may have early signs of change that might need further assessment or correction. Physical and emotional stress often causes tension and tightness to develop within the muscles and other soft tissues of the body, and massage can be extremely effective at releasing this tension and restoring normal function to the body.
Our experienced massage team are experts in many forms of massage (from the relaxing techniques of Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy all the way through to the more rehabilitative forms of massage such as Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Therapy), and our patients find that massage can be very helpful in complementing their osteopathic and chiropractic care, or when used as a stand alone treatment approach. Stress and anxiety contribute to a lot of ill health and unhappiness in our society, and clinical hypnotherapy is increasingly popular with people who are looking for non pharmacological ways to manage the mental and emotional challenges of life.
Clinical Hypnosis aims to help people relax and develop their ability to cope with stressful experiences in a more constructive or empowered way in order to enhance their personal health and happiness. Learn more.
Our practice runs a series of interesting and informative health workshops that cover a variety of health topics, including spinal wellbeing, eating well, exercise, and more.
These workshops build upon the information we cover individually with our patients, but they are open to everyone and you don’t need to have seen us before in order to be able to attend. In the past we have also been asked to present these workshops to “offsite” organisations such as G.P. surgeries, fitness clubs and some of the local companies in our area, so please do get in touch if you wish to enquire about this.
The dates for the next set of workshops in our practice will be posted soon, but please get in touch if you have any questions in the meantime.
